Fraternal Year 2015 – 2016 is Off to a Great Start
With events like as the Fourth of July parade, a great turnout at the Swim Fest at Hub Pool and the instillation of officers at Rich Schweitzers’ house we look forward to productive and fun year.
At our first business meeting on July 23rd, we presented a draft calendar and budget for the fraternal year. At our next business meeting on August 14th., we discussed them and voted on them. For our brothers who have not been to a meeting in a while, we invite you to join us at are meetings. We hope to show you what we think will be an exciting year.
Events to look forward to include the recently added Chili supper at St. Mary’s on October 24 and the Courthouse Pumpkin Fest on October 4th. where we have approval to sell coffee and hot chocolate.
Recruitment is the focus the weekend of October 10th at Saint Mary’s where we will hand out KOC fliers after masses.
Also, let’s show our colors. When we do public events, fund raisers, or parades wear the KOC logo. Dave Stephenson is putting together an order to take advantage of a quantity discounts on KOC shirts, hats and emblem pins. Saint Mary’s 150th anniversary on Saturday August 31st is a great opportunity to meet as a council and let people know who we are.
